West Cornwall Storage, a business established in 1982, is a leading provider of secure self-storage solutions in the region. Our storage facilities, located at Fraddam near Hayle in West Cornwall, house in excess of 100 self-storage containers, providing low-cost and secure storage options for both domestic and business customers.

What is Self-Storage?

Self-storage, in its true definition, refers to the direct storage of goods by individuals and companies in their own exclusively occupied, self-contained, and secured spaces within a complex. It is, in essence, your tailored secure space away from home or the business. The "self" bit is significant. Customers are required to bring their own goods to the storage facility, pack them into the container, and secure them with their own padlock.

Our Container Facilities

We offer three sizes of containers for hire: 6' x 6' x 6', 10' x 8' x 8', and 20' x 8' x 8'. These containers provide 36 sq.ft or 216 cu.ft, 80 sq.ft or 640 cu.ft, and 160 sq.ft or 1280 cu.ft of storage space respectively. Our facilities offer free, easy access 24/7, and almost all containers are enclosed in secure compounds with vehicle access for easy loading and unloading. The containers are waterproof, fireproof, and rodent proof, with 24hour CCTV security coverage for added peace of mind.

Storage Services & Prices

West Cornwall Storage offers low-cost self-storage with no minimum or maximum period of hire. Our prices are as follows: 6' x 6' x 6' Containers @15.00 per week, 10' x 8' x 8' Containers @22.00 per week, and 20' x 8' x 8' Containers @34.00 per week. Insurance

It is the responsibility of the customer to insure their goods whilst they are in storage. Your home contents insurer may be able to provide cover, but we highly recommend confirming this thoroughly. Alternatively, competitive insurance is available from specialist insurers such as Insurastore.

Removals & Transport

While we do not offer a removals service, we would be happy to recommend local carriers such as Dave Wilding Van Services. Alternatively, there are several self-drive van hire services locally available.
