Security Concerns
The security of the storage units has been a major concern for several reviewers. Ashley Gibbonskj reported that their Sur Ron bikes were stolen from the unit, and the rapid response security took 17 minutes to arrive. Anthony Reynolds also had his e-bike stolen, and he received no notification about the incident. The security measures advertised on the website, such as alarms and well-lit areas, were not found to be effective.
Poor Customer Service
Several reviewers have experienced poor customer service from the staff. Ashley Gibbonskj did not receive an apology or a proper explanation for the theft of their bikes. Anthony Reynolds had to threaten to involve a solicitor to get the insurance claim processed. Peter Smith had issues with the staff chasing him for money he had already paid, and Dave Speller felt that the staff were unresponsive to his concerns.
Overpriced Units
Dave Speller felt that the prices of the units were too high, especially compared to other storage facilities in the area. He mentioned that the price for half a container was similar to what other sites were charging for a full container.
Positive Experiences
However, some reviewers have had positive experiences with the storage facility. Debbie Moseley and Mrs. Hughes found the staff to be friendly and helpful. They appreciated the convenience of the location and the ease of storing their items.
